Which detectors are installed (FID, ECD, TCD, MSD), single or dual inlet, and whether it's a standalone GC or a full GC-MS.
Sampling accessories.
A 7693 or 7650 autosampler, a 7697A headspace sampler, or a purge-and-trap can add meaningfully to the number.
MSD source condition.
For GC-MS: source type (inert, extractor, XTR, EI/CI), last cleaning, and whether it tuned successfully when last run.
