What affects our offer on a SCIEX system

   Model and generation.

   6500+ vs 6500, plus-series upgrades, and QTRAP vs straight Triple Quad — the single biggest driver of the range. Legacy API systems price lower but still move.

2. 2

   Ion source included.

   IonDrive Turbo V, standard Turbo V, or no source — and whether electrodes and probes come with it.

3. 3

   Vacuum and storage state.

   Running under vacuum until decommission is ideal. Vented and warehoused is still sellable — tell us honestly and we'll price accordingly.

4. 4

   Software and PC.

   Analyst or SCIEX OS version and whether the acquisition PC and licenses transfer with the system.

5. 5

   Service history.

   PM records or a recent service report raise confidence — and the offer. Detector replacement dates are worth mentioning.

6. 6

   Completeness.

   Roughing pumps, cables, gas lines — and the LC stack (ExionLC, Agilent, Shimadzu) if it's going as a complete system.
