This 2021 system pairs the diode array detector with a refractive index detector, making it a great fit for pharma QC, sugars and carbohydrates, polymers, and excipient analysis where both UV and RI detection are needed. Key Specifications: - Quaternary Pump C: up to 700 bar, 0–10 mL/min, SmartFlow technology with automatic compensation for eluent compressibility, 679 µL default gradient delay volume - Split Sampler CT: 0.01–100 µL standard injection range (1,000 µL optional), 4 racks x 54 vials (≤1.5 mL) plus 12 x 10 mL vials, sample thermostatting 4–40 °C - Column Compartment H: 5–120 °C in 0.1 °C steps, still-air and forced-air modes, holds up to 4 x 100 mm or 2 x 250 mm columns - Diode Array Detector: 190–800 nm, 1024-element photodiode array, up to 250 Hz data rate, noise <±6 µAU and drift <1 mAU/h at 254 nm - RefractoMax 521 RI Detector: 1.00–1.75 RIU range, noise ≤2.5 nRIU, drift 0.2 µRIU/h, 8 µL flow cell, cell temperature control 30–55 °C, fully controlled from Chromeleon - Power: 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz (all modules) Software: Thermo Scientific Chromeleon Chromatography Data System (CDS) installed on the included PC.
