What affects our offer on an ICP system

   Year and plasma hours.

   Manufacture year and how much plasma time the torch box has seen.

   Sample introduction completeness.

   Torch, nebulizer, spray chamber, and cones (for ICP-MS) — present and in usable condition, or consumed.

   Support equipment included.

   Chiller, autosampler (SPS 4, ASX-560, S23) and vacuum pumps often travel with the instrument and raise the offer when they do.

   Detector condition.

   For ICP-MS, electron-multiplier age and last detector calibration; for ICP-OES, camera/CCD health.

5. 5

   Software and PC.

   MassHunter, Syngistix or Qtegra version and whether the PC and licenses transfer.

   Service history.

   PM records and the last performance report (sensitivity, oxide ratios) let us bid at the top of the range.
