What affects our offer on a GC or GC-MS
Configuration.
Which detectors are installed (FID, ECD, TCD, MSD), single or dual inlet, and whether it's a standalone GC or a full GC-MS.
Sampling accessories.
A 7693 or 7650 autosampler, a 7697A headspace sampler, or a purge-and-trap can add meaningfully to the number.
MSD source condition.
For GC-MS: source type (inert, extractor, XTR, EI/CI), last cleaning, and whether it tuned successfully when last run.
Software and licenses.
ChemStation, MassHunter or OpenLab version and whether the acquisition PC transfers.
Service history.
PM records, inlet maintenance, and pump service dates all help us bid with confidence.
Completeness.
Rough pump, cables, gas plumbing, tower and tray — complete systems move faster and bid higher.
Worried about shipping a sensitive instrument? Don't be — we crate and haul it ourselves. You point at the instrument; we do the rest.
